Wisconsin Public Safety Network (WiPSN)

WiSPN is a system that provides all of the capabilities of a statewide network, maintains local control and is implemented by a vendor that is proven and trusted. It’s available to any county, municipality, or agency in the State of Wisconsin. WiPSN provides P25-compliant call processing, so agencies who already have Motorola P25 networks can eliminate the need to continue supporting their existing core, simply by connecting to WiPSN. Learn more about the public-private partnership that links individual public safety communication systems together across the entire state of Wisconsin.

P25 Compliant

The WiPSN core architecture is a fully-featured Project 25 system core that not only includes all of the features available today, but allows for new features to be available as well.

Backed by the cloud

The WiPSN network is backed up the Motorola Solutions geo-graphic redundant core-in-the-cloud. So, even if the WiPSN core were to fail, the system would switch over to core-in-the-cloud, and operation would continue as normal.

Interoperability

Users of WiPSN also have access to statewide interoperability talkgroups which allow you to operate across the system statewide, providing unprecedented interoperability never before available in the state of Wisconsin.
